About the role
The Associate will design equipment, structures, and foundations for all Company products and systems including air pollution control and pressure processing systems.
Responsibilities
- Review work of designers, CAD Technicians and subcontractors and check drawings for accuracy
- Produce shop fabrication drawings for in-house and subcontract fabrication
- Lay out proposed systems
- Using customer drawings and survey data, travel to job sites to provide technical advice and gather design information
- Help evaluate, test, and improve Company products
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Two or three years of relevant experience in structural design
- Thorough knowledge of structural design using structural steel, plate and sheet steel and concrete foundations
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and STAAD structural design software
- A Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
