Structural Engineer

Responsibilities
- Aid in the structural design, analysis, and modeling of building systems using industry-standard software and tools
- Support the development of structural systems including foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers
- Participate in field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as needed
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and internal departments to support structural feasibility, constructability, and compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements
- Support quality control reviews of structural documents and calculations
- Maintain effective communication with project teams to meet project schedules and deliverables
- Aid in proposal development, scope definition, and technical support as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in structural engineering design for building projects
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, 3–6 years of experience in structural engineering design for building projects, proficiency in structural analysis and design software, familiarity with applicable building codes and standards, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
