Structural Engineer
Responsibilities
- Utilize Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software with a focus on structural engineering design.
- Edit and manipulate Revit families and their parameters.
- Set up new projects independently and link outside models into structural models.
- Extract model elements such as grid lines and project levels for use in structural models.
- Assist in the preparation of construction contract documents, plans, and reports.
- Conduct structural engineering analyses and design for projects of all sizes.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Work concurrently on multiple projects.
- Perform calculations using company standard software.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Experience in structural analysis and design.
- Capability to set up and manage projects independently.
- 5+ years of experience in design projects with oversight.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/hr.

About the Role
Join a small and dynamic engineering and consulting firm that offers a comprehensive range of structural engineering and consulting services for a variety of project types. Our services encompass structural design, forensic engineering, condition assessments, feasibility studies, and cost estimates. Our firm supports the development of master plans and budget planning for projects including community centers, educational facilities, parking garages, cultural centers, offices, and airport terminals. We bring a wealth of experience in structural engineering, capable of producing output in BIM environments or traditional CADD formats to meet client needs. Our analytical capacity extends to performing and reviewing linear and non-linear dynamic modeling of buildings and structures.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software.
Experience in structural analysis and design.
Capability to set up and manage projects independently.
5+ years of experience in design projects with oversight.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in residential or commercial projects.
Project management skills.
Familiarity with structural steel design.
