Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering analysis and design for a variety of projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Develop structural calculations, models, and design documents to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with other engineers and project stakeholders to review design requirements and propose appropriate structural solutions.
• Evaluate existing structures and recommend modifications or improvements as needed.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and related technical documentation.
• Participate in project meetings to provide structural engineering input and support decision-making.
• Ensure that all structural engineering work aligns with professional engineering standards and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in structural engineering, including structural analysis and structural design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license as a Structural Engineer.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, methods, and best practices.
• Ability to interpret and produce structural drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and reliable engineering work.

Essential Skills

• Experience working as one of a small group of structural engineers within an organization.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining high quality standards.
