Structural Engineer (10-15 yrs experience)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration, Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering
• Registered PE in at least one state with suitable credentials for registration in other states
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of construction cost unit prices for structural materials and applications
• In-depth knowledge of local and national building and material design codes and design practices as they relate to structural engineering
• Proficient with structural engineering software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs from concept through completion of construction
• Prepare engineering design calculations and structural system layouts
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives
• Cook up structural design requirements with architecture and other disciplines
• Produce construction documents in Revit
• Write and review specifications
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
• Conduct site visits when needed
• Collaborate with architects, other engineers and clients as part of an integrated design process
• Develop programs related to enriching coordination between architecture and structure

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually, contingent upon candidate experience, skill set, and market factors.
