Structural Designer
Responsibilities
- Completes feasibility studies by studying project plans, conducting site investigations, identifying and establishing performance standards;
- Prepares construction documents and submittals;
- Verifies and supports construction by performing compliance inspections and tests; resolves construction problems related to structural design;
- Coordination and conferring with construction and production contractors;
- Documents structural design and maintenance by recording design features and maintenance requirements, and warnings; detailing safety requirements;
- Develop comprehensive plans, details and Specifications;
- Construction administration, including field/ site visits and ability to solve problems that may arise during construction;
- Work in conjunction with senior staff to assist with unique structural-related issues;
- Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum BS in Civil/Structural Engineering;
- Experienced in the design and renovation of existing structures is preferred;
- Experienced with AutoCAD or Revit and computer-aided analysis/design of structures is required;
- Strong Oral and written communication skills required.
Pay
Compensation packages include salary, benefits & bonus based upon relevant experience.
Schedule
Full-time, four days a week in office with one hybrid/remote day.
