Responsibilities
- Perform structural design calculations (beam design, reinforced concrete and steel structures design and analysis)
- Create sketches and computer models as required
- Aid in field inspections and condition assessments of transportation structures and facilities
- Research design options and codes and discuss findings with the project manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master's optional
- Zero to two years of relevant experience
- EIT certification or the ability to obtain within one year
- Experience with analytical software such as SAP, CSI Bridge, LARSA 4D, etc.
- Experience with CAD software such as Microstation or AutoCAD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and responsible individual with a strong work ethic
