Structural CAD/BIM Designer

About the role

As part of our Structural team in the Raleigh, NC office, this position will develop skills in design software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Candidates will work in a collaborative environment with senior-level engineering and design staff to develop design documents and 3D models for water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of senior staff, develop Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines, and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.

Requirements

• Basic proficiency of Autodesk Revit.
• Basic proficiency of AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of structural steel and concrete systems would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an education program with focus in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred.
