Structural CAD/BIM Designer

About the role

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join our team. This role involves producing structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for the structural discipline.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents
• Coordinating contract drawing development with multiple disciplines
• Performing BIM model clash detection and resolving conflicts with various disciplines
• Training and mentoring less experienced designers
• Reviewing models and drawings for less experienced designers
• Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows

Qualifications

• A relevant bachelor’s degree and 6 to 10 years of experience, or an associate degree/technical certification and 6 to 10 years of experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D (beneficial)
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium and large-sized projects
