About the role
Join STV's Transportation and Infrastructure team in Irvine, Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, or Denver as a Structural Bridge Engineering Specialist. This role offers opportunities for early-career engineers to work on highway, rail, and pedestrian bridge projects, gain technical depth, and collaborate with experienced professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate as a key member of STV’s West Region Bridge Practice, supporting a growing team focused on delivering high-quality transportation infrastructure solutions.
- Aid in the structural analysis and design of highway, rail, pedestrian, and related transportation structures across various project types.
- Support bridge design tasks from concept through final deliverables, taking ownership of assigned work and contributing to overall project success.
- Partner with project managers, engineers, and discipline leads to support project planning, budgets, schedules, specifications, and successful delivery.
- Maintain quality and consistency across project deliverables by applying sound engineering judgment and attention to detail.
- Contribute to plan production through CAD markups, layout development, and coordination with the broader design team as needed, including exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation Range: $79,259.38 - $90,582.14
