Structural (Bridge) Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Design simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction)
• Design a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other ancillary structures)
• Develop contract plans
• Prepare engineer's estimates and construction specifications
• Perform construction support services

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Structural Engineering)
• Previous internship experience preferred
• Experience using CADD (Microstation or AutoCAD preferred)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a team environment

Qualifications

Local candidates preferred, no housing stipend provided.
