Structural Engineering Internship - Bridge

About the role

Our Bridge team works on challenging projects including retaining walls, dams, bridges, storm and traffic structures, inspections, rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services. As a structural engineering student intern, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll be part of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic project design through CAD drafting
• Perform research and writing technical reports
• May have an opportunity to travel to job sites for observation

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or architectural engineering (structural emphasis)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
