Structural (Bridge) Engineer
About the role
The successful candidate will collaborate with and established team of professionals and contribute to the design and quality control of construction documents for a wide variety of bridge and transportation structures. These include simple and complex bridges, primarily concrete (prestressed) and steel construction, as well as retaining walls, signs and other miscellaneous structures.

- Work closely with clients and colleagues
- Gain valuable experience on diverse projects
- Collaborate with Dewberry’s other structures offices nationwide
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field; MS preferred
- North Carolina PE license is required or ability to obtain within 1-2 years
- 3-6 years of progressive experience working on bridge transportation projects
- Familiarity with NCDOT Standards, Specifications & Guidelines preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
Qualifications
Required Skills & Required Experience: BS in Civil Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
