Striper
About the Role
Perform striping services on newly installed tracks and re-striping services on existing tracks in accordance with applicable rules and standards (e.g., NFHS, NCAA). Manage striping projects from start to finish, including ensuring proper measurements and spacing, tools and equipment are on-site, and interfacing with client personnel as necessary. Travel throughout 30 U.S. States (east of the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean, excluding New England). Create and submit project reports and certification letters as required. Consult on track construction projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform track striping services in compliance with NFHS, NCAA, and other applicable standards.
- Manage striping projects from start to finish, including measurements, equipment setup, and client coordination.
- Travel extensively across 30 U.S. States (east of the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean, excluding New England).
- Adhere to safety guidelines and meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Create and submit project reports and certification letters to supervisors.
- Consult on track construction projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
- Must comply with Tarkett Substance Abuse Policy and DOT Drug Control Program, including pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and variable outdoor conditions.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, lift a minimum of 50 lbs., carry, push, pull, and use hands/fingers.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and adaptability to latest technology (e.g., smartphones and applications).
- Previous experience in track striping or using a Topcon theodolite is a plus.
