Hours of Operation
- 2:45pm-11:00pm
Success Looks Like
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Necessity for attention to detail
- The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output
- Able to identify any issues with the product or process
- Capable of cutting the rubber stock off the mill and lifting it back up to band on the mill
- Able to pull a rubber strip(s) approximately 2 to 20 inches wide from the mill and feed it onto the take-off belt located approximately three feet away
- Capable of performing tasks such as cutting samples for QA testing, cleaning grease pans weekly, keeping work area clean, following safety procedures, operating a forklift for various functions, filling out safety checklists, establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures, and assisting in modifying and updating procedures
Your Credentials
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School or GED preferred
- Willing to work overtime including weekends
- Close visual work required
- Knowledge of general computer skills
- Attention to detail
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
