About the role

The Streets Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, construction, and repair of Town streets, rights-of-way, sidewalks, and storm sewers. Technicians operate heavy equipment, complete work orders, equipment checklists, and maintenance tracking reports, conduct snow removal operations, and respond to emergencies involving road closures, flooding, storm damage, blizzards, or other weather-related events.

Entry-level candidates with previous construction or labor experience, as well as those with directly related experience, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, construct, and repair Town streets, rights-of-way, sidewalks, and storm sewers
• Operate heavy equipment
• Complete work orders, equipment checklists, and maintenance tracking reports
• Conduct snow removal operations
• Respond to emergencies such as road closures, flooding, storm damage, blizzards, or other weather-related events

Pay

Expected hiring range: $24.47 - $32.30/hour, depending upon experience.
