Responsibilities
Deliver care directly to patients experiencing homelessness in their own environments—under bridges, in encampments, and on the street.
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician.
- Part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive care addressing physical health, mental health, and substance use disorders for individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in the service area.
- Support USC Street Medicine’s broader system of care, including HIV Medicine, Women’s Health, and Enhanced Care Management.
- Teach Physician Assistant students, medical students, Family Medicine residents, and other learners during street-based rounds.
Requirements
- Current Advanced Practitioner License (PA, NP, etc.)
- 3 years of experience working with the homeless population
- Experience with treatment of Substance Use Disorders
- Experience with Primary Care and Mental Health treatments

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. schedule
Pay
- $135,000 - $155,000 annual base salary
