About the role

Sovah Health-Danville, a Lifepoint Health Hospital in Danville, Virginia (on the NC border, NW of Durham), is growing with the addition of an employed, full-time FNP to strengthen our established outpatient primary care team. Join an existing outpatient practice with a Monday - Friday schedule. The community has a significant need for primary care services so the new physician will get busy quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a primary care setting
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care coordination
• Conduct routine physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and provide preventive care
• Develop and maintain patient records and follow-up care plans
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical advancements

Requirements

• Current licensure as an FNP in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Completion of an accredited FNP program
• At least one year of post-graduate clinical experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree preferred
• Experience in family medicine or related field
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a high volume of patients

Pay

The compensation package can include a competitive base salary plus worked relative value unit (wRVU) production bonus.

Schedule

The position offers a Monday - Friday schedule.
