About the role

Position: StreamSets. Location: Hyderabad (preferred), Bangalore, Chennai. Experience: 9‑12 years. Employment type: Contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using StreamSets.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large‑scale data movement.
• Integrate data from various source systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met.
• Participate in code reviews and deployment activities.
• Provide production support and resolve data‑related issues.

Requirements

• Experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
• 3 years of hands‑on experience with StreamSets.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Experience with data transformation, data quality, and pipeline optimization.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
