The Strategy & Planning Program Manager, Fleet Allocation role is part of the Strategy & Planning team, focusing on making strategic decisions, prioritizing tasks, and solving problems to ensure assets are optimally allocated globally.
Responsibilities
- Own asset allocation: Manage intake, evaluation, recommendations, and tracking for asset allocation requests across Americas and APAC.
- Build recommendations: Use market metrics, operational readiness, and information from multiple teams to determine optimal fleet placements for maximum ROI.
- Model trade-offs: Develop scenarios and decision frameworks to compare various fleet allocation options.
- Drive planning cycles: Support forecasting and budgeting cycles on capital expenditures and fleet planning.
- Coordinate execution: Transform approved decisions into clear operational plans to facilitate team execution.
- Partner cross-functionally: Align with local and cross-functional leaders across operations, finance, supply chain, logistics, government relations, and data science.
- Track outcomes: Monitor execution and post-movement performance to assess business impact.
- Improve the system: Enhance trackers, dashboards, models, cadences, and processes to streamline allocation processes and make them more data-driven.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, business intelligence, strategy, or operations.
- Strong analytical judgment, advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, SQL proficiency, and the ability to independently analyze and present data.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional workstreams across regions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills.
- Operational judgment to distinguish between analytically sound and operationally feasible plans.
- Comfortable working across Americas and APAC time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI), EPM tools/processes (Anaplan), and relevant industry experience (mobility, logistics, marketplace operations, supply chain, inventory planning, asset-heavy operations, international operations).
- Advanced degree (MBA, master’s degree, or equivalent analytical training) is a plus.
Qualifications
- Remote position with a preference for candidates residing within 1 hour of one of our warehouses in New York, Washington D.C., or Seattle for effective collaboration.
- Experience scaling processes or products in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to balance execution with strategy.
- Knowledge of mobility, logistics, marketplace operations, supply chain, inventory planning, asset-heavy operations, international operations, or planning cycles such as annual planning, re-forecasting, CapEx planning, or budget forecasting.
