The Assessment

This is a generalist business simulation we use for all non-technical roles (GTM, Ops, Growth, Chief of Staff).

We built this take-home to assess what really matters:

• How you frame messy problems
• How you use data to make trade-offs
• How you communicate and make decisions under constraints
• Whether you think like an owner, not a task-taker

We value clarity over length and want to see how you structure problems, make trade-offs, and measure success. Assume the data is directionally correct but imperfect. Feel free to make and call out any assumptions.

Logistical Items

• Time Limit: You will have 2 hours from the moment you begin to submit your response (you don’t need to take the full time but we’ll cut you off at 2 hours).
• LLM Usage: We believe that LLMs are an important tool for analytical work. In this context however, we want to understand how you think, write, and work through a problem on your own. For this reason, please avoid using LLMs for writing, data analysis, or generating insights. Using an LLM for basic research or to gather background context is acceptable.
• Format: You'll drop your written response directly into the provided text field. Attach supporting documents as necessary.
