Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support development and execution of cross-functional initiatives in pharmacy operations, supply chain, PBM operations, and quality teams.
- Participate in strategic planning cycles by gathering data, preparing insights, and supporting scenario analyses.
Process Improvement
- Apply structured problem-solving methods and process optimization frameworks learned during training.
- Aid in mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and developing recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Support implementation of new processes, tracking results and measuring success.
Project Execution
- Contribute to active projects by preparing deliverables, participating in meetings, and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
- Ensure project milestones are met and deliverables align with defined objectives and quality standards.
- Aid teams with documentation, reporting, and presentation of findings.
Training & Learning Application
- Participate in SkillBridge curriculum, including company orientation, operational onboarding, strategic thinking modules, and on-the-job training.
- Apply learned concepts to real work assignments, demonstrating continuous growth in operational and strategic capabilities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, engineering, analytics, healthcare, or related fields).
- Military experience highly valued—SkillBridge participants encouraged.
- Prior exposure to operations, project management, or analytical tasks is a plus.
- No prior pharmacy/PBM experience required; all relevant industry concepts are taught in the training program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and propose actionable recommendations.
- Ability to learn complex processes and systems quickly.
- Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge or interest in operations, supply chain, quality, or healthcare processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Intellectual curiosity, initiative, and willingness to take ownership of work.
- Comfort navigating fast-paced environments and ambiguity.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
- This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
- Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment.
- May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients.
- Some travel may be required.
