About the role

We are looking for a Strategy Intern who is naturally curious, has a strategic mindset, and thrives on connecting insights across diverse information sources. The ideal candidate is proactive, intuitive, and an excellent storyteller with strong research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary and primary research to uncover actionable insights.
  • Analyze and monitor brands/products to develop competitive analyses.
  • Transform research findings into interesting, inspiring, and meaningful overviews.
  • Collaborate on strategic briefs to guide creative teams in delivering impactful campaigns.
  • Support content strategy in building messaging and positioning matrices.
  • Work in true collaboration with the strategy team and cross-functional teams (creative, media, social, public relations, etc.).
  • Build custom GPTs and utilize AI platforms to support their team(s).
  • Advocate for both the brand and the target audience to ensure resonance and relevance.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the agency and contribute to a variety of projects.

Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in brand strategy, content strategy, consumer insights, brand planning, and creative problem-solving.
  • Fundamental understanding of and practical experience with qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and deadlines with keen attention to detail.
  • Insatiable curiosity and a drive to dig deeper and ask “why.”
  • Proficient and proactive with AI tools.
  • Experience with and interest in social science (anthropology, sociology, etc.).
  • Experience with and interest in research and design frameworks (human-centered design, design thinking, IDC, etc.).
  • Self-confidence without ego.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, with demonstrated multitasking skills and the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable presenting insights and strategies to internal and client teams.
  • An innate ability to balance creative thinking (right-brain) with analytical rigor (left-brain).
  • Natural enthusiasm for making the whole room smarter, not just promoting your own ideas.

Pay

$20/hour for approximately 40 hours per week.

Schedule

This is an in-person internship at our Minneapolis office, planned to run from September to December 2026.
