Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Vision
- Translate complex market, consumer, and cultural dynamics into clear strategic direction.
- Develop strategic frameworks, positioning recommendations, audience segmentation models, and messaging architectures that guide business and creative decisions.
- Influence Clients
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions that help clients identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and make informed decisions.
- Inspire Creative Excellence
- Partner closely with creative leadership to unlock breakthrough ideas grounded in human insight.
- Develop inspiring briefs that spark innovative and effective creative solutions.
- Build and Develop Talent
- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of strategists.
- Foster an environment of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Drive Agency Growth
- Play a leadership role in new business opportunities, including RFP responses, pitch development, and presentations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, account planning, or communications strategy within leading advertising, marketing, or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic work for large-scale consumer brands.
- Experience within technology, consumer electronics, telecommunications, or adjacent categories strongly preferred.
- Proven success influencing senior client stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers.
- Deep expertise in consumer research, audience insights, cultural intelligence, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing ecosystems, including brand, digital, social, retail, experiential, and commerce channels.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing high-performing strategy teams.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
Benefits
This role is based in Plano, Texas, with a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Travel may be required based on client and business needs.
