About the role

Crimson Rise is a full-time position, fully remote, with an immediate start. As a Strategy Consultant, you will work directly with young students (typically grades 6-8, ages 11-14) and their parents to develop overarching academic, extracurricular, and personal developmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Guide students in pre-college academic strategy, including course selection, developing healthy study habits, recognizing and building on strengths, and finding and maintaining an innate love of learning.
  • Guide students in pre-college extracurricular strategy, including pinpointing and owning interests and dislikes, exploring new extracurriculars and hobbies, deepening established extracurriculars and hobbies, brainstorming personal projects, and summer activity planning.
  • Guide students in personal development, including goal-setting, stress management, time management, reflection on priorities, interests, motivators, and strengths.
  • Build tailored reading lists, improve vocabulary, explore majors and careers, take supplementary online classes, and help students become happy, healthy, clear-minded thinkers confident in their inherent value and able to engage passionately with their interests and the world around them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top University; advanced degrees will be advantageous.
  • Passion for coaching young adults and appreciation of global perspectives.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, product management a plus.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Resilience when working independently under pressure.
  • Experience in formal education, coaching, tutoring, and admissions consulting preferred.
