Job-ID: 17905; Location(s): Job Summary We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic professional to join our team as a Strategy Associate. In this pivotal role, you will be helping to shape and drive the overall strategic direction of the North American organization. This role will help Viega LLC achieve its ambitious growth targets by promoting data-driven decision making across all areas of the business, providing strategic guidance to the Executive Leadership Team, helping to both define and execute critical initiatives, and supporting long-term planning. This role will report directly to the Director of Strategy and focus on executing the long-term, incl. the specific underlying 3-year action plan. Responsibilities Contribute to the development and execution of key strategic and cross-functional initiatives, including our long-term 20235 strategy and the 1,000-Day Plan. Take ownership of defined workstreams and increasingly manage projects independently, including structuring activities, tracking milestones and deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting implementation through completion.Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis across a broad range of business topics, including corporate strategy, business performance, market and competitive dynamics, and other management priorities. Develop analytical models and decision-support tools such as market sizing and demand models, business cases, financial analyses, and scenario models.Support M&A and other strategic investment activities in close collaboration with the Director, Strategy, including target assessment, strategic and commercial rationale, financial analysis, business case development, due diligence, and transaction-related project support.Contribute to the company’s corporate sustainability agenda and related cross-functional initiatives, working with relevant business functions and Global Sustainability to assess requirements, develop fact bases, and translate sustainability priorities into practical business actions.Structure complex and sometimes ambiguous business questions, synthesize quantitative and qualitative information, and develop clear insights, recommendations, and executive-ready materials to support fact-based decision-making. Work effectively across functions and levels of the organization to coordinate activities, build alignment, and move initiatives forward. Collaborate closely with Global Strategy and other regional and global teams to leverage relevant expertise and best practices. Act as an analytical and strategic resource to the Director, Strategy and broader leadership team, bringing intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a fact-based perspective while continuing to build the experience and capabilities to take on greater responsibility over time. Will be required to travel partially. Education, Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required, Master’s degree is desirable. Professional Experience 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy roles.Experience working in highly cross-functional and/or international organizations. Technical Skills Strong analytical skills (XLS, Tableau) with the ability to construct sophisticated models.Proficiency in processing data, conducting analysis, and preparing comprehensive reports.Experience in crafting and developing proposal-ready materials, including external-facing customer presentations. Project Management & Organizational Skills Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and project management capabilities. Compensation Total Rewards Package: Base: $74,234-$97,433 USD annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
