Strategic Student Program: Software Engineer Intern (Fall 2026; EBS)
About the role
We are Siemens Industry Software Inc., part of the Siemens Industry Software Inc. Strategic Student Program (SSP). Our internship program is designed to empower students to become the next leaders of our company. The Software Engineer Intern role is within the Siemens Electronic Board Systems division, focusing on enhancing code quality through services to development teams and management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain code quality for development teams and management
- Build process-oriented analytical data presentation and reporting tools using C/C++, Python, and shell scripts
- Work in a hybrid setting in Boulder, CO
- Contribute to the improvement of software development processes within a leading global software company
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or graduate)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
- Preferred Graduation: 2026-2027
- Available to work in a Hybrid setting in Boulder, CO without the need to relocate
Qualifications
- Strong competency in C/C++ and Java, with abilities in both developing new code and reading existing code
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages to build interfaces between internal systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently
- Confidence in decision-making and the ability to advocate those decisions to senior engineers
- Insatiable intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in software development and security

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is 18 - 50 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
