The Strategic Student Program (SSP) at Siemens Industry Software Inc. is designed to empower students to become the next leaders of the company. Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling
- Build and maintain Excel-based models and trackers to support pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Ensure data accuracy, organization, and consistency across reporting outputs
- Market & Account Research
- Conduct research on target accounts, industries, and competitive landscapes
- Develop structured account profiles highlighting key business drivers, initiatives, and opportunities
- Support territory planning and account prioritization efforts
- GTM Strategy & Sales Support
- Aid in preparing customer briefs, opportunity analyses, and account plans
- Support pipeline reviews and forecasting with data-driven insights
- Track sales activity and campaign performance
- AI & Productivity Tools
- Utilize tools such as Copilot and other AI-enabled assistants to accelerate research and analysis
- Support efforts to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency
- Special Projects
- Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on improving data quality, reporting, and sales execution
- Support ongoing efforts to enhance how the team uses data to drive decision-making
- Participation in weekly sales, operations, and strategy meetings
- Exposure to core business tools such as Salesforce, Excel-based reporting, and internal systems
- Direct interaction with sales leadership on forecasting, pipeline reviews, and market strategy
- Hands-on experience applying analytical and financial skills in a business context
- Exposure to enterprise software sales and go-to-market strategy
- Development of practical skills in data modeling, market analysis, and sales operations
- A portfolio of real-world work including dashboards, reports, and account insights
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or graduate)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
- Preferred Graduation Year: 2027
- Hybrid; Part time during Fall
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Background or coursework in finance, business, analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with structured data
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in data-driven decision making and business strategy
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled workflows

Pay
