Strategic Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Implement project-specific sourcing strategies across US and Puerto Rico capital projects
• Lead and manage electronic RFP/RFQ processes using Ariba and Scout
• Negotiate and manage Master Services Agreements and related contracts in Ariba CWS
• Support supplier selection, bidding, evaluation, and award processes
• Manage sourcing activities for capital construction, equipment, engineering, automation, quality, validation, and trade service categories
• Ensure compliance with global sourcing policies and procurement procedures
• Support contract management, change order management, and supplier performance activities
• Anticipate customer needs, execute improvement programs, and validate savings
• Act as a liaison between project teams and suppliers to resolve issues and support contract interpretation
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Insurance, and Tax to support timely contract review and execution
• Maintain strong stakeholder and supplier communication to keep projects moving forward

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of strategic sourcing, capital procurement, operations, manufacturing, or project management experience
• Experience managing multiple capital projects in a large corporate or matrixed environment
• Strong understanding of sourcing processes, including tendering, supplier negotiations, contracting, and supplier evaluation
• Experience supporting capital construction, equipment, engineering, or related procurement categories
• Proficiency with e-sourcing tools such as Ariba and Scout
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute complex deliverables
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new processes and tools
• Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and cross-functional partners
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Fluent business English, both written and verbal
