Strategic Sourcing Intern
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate etc. Include only sections with real specific content. Must preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the posting.
Key info:
- Company description: Southwire Company, LLC is a leader... (first paragraph). That's about the company. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" maybe not. But we can have a section "About the role" or "About the company". The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can include About the role (maybe summarizing the role). We have a job description: "Job Summary/Objective: The purpose of Southwire’s College Programs is to help early career professionals bring together formal learning and productive work to improve their ability to transition from school to work. Southwire provides interns and co-ops with “real world” applications of their academic studies, helpful feedback and coaching, and consideration for employment after graduation. Each student will have a variety of responsibilities and assigned projects that relate to their field of study and be responsible for developing a timeline, progress updates, and final delivery in a senior leadership expo. Note: All new interns and co-ops must begin in the summer rotation."
Also "Ready to explore new horizons..." is maybe fluff.
Key Responsibilities: bullet list.
Long Description: description of Strategic Sourcing Intern tasks.
Description Of Responsibilities: bullet list.
Qualifications And Experience Requirements: bullet list.
Ideal Candidate Profile: prose.
Benefits We Offer: bullet list (401k with Matching & Pension Plan (Eligible for Pension after 1,000 Hours Worked), Flexible Work Schedules). Also maybe other benefits? Not listed.
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00.
Location: CTONSOUTHPARKST (maybe a code). Shift: May 17th - Aug 6th.
We need to include Pay and Schedule sections only if posting actually states them. Yes we have Pay Rate and Shift (schedule). So we should include Pay and Schedule sections.
We need to avoid boilerplate: EEO statement, equal opportunity employer, etc. Remove that.
Also remove duplicated lines, navigation, cookie etc.
We need to preserve all substantive information: company description, job summary/objective, responsibilities, description of responsibilities, qualifications, ideal candidate profile, benefits, pay, schedule, location maybe? Location is not a heading but could be included in a short paragraph.
We should not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep specifics like "Strategic Sourcing Intern will support a process improvement initiative focused on invoice-only purchase orders (POs)." etc.
We need to format using
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to decide which sections to include.
Potential sections:
- About the role (maybe combine company description and job summary/objective). Could be a
with that info.
- Responsibilities: combine Key Responsibilities and Description Of Responsibilities? Might be two lists but we can combine into one
with items.
- Requirements: maybe Qualifications And Experience Requirements.
- Qualifications: maybe same as Requirements? The instruction lists both Requirements and Qualifications as possible headings. We need to decide based on content. We have "Qualifications And Experience Requirements" and also "Ideal Candidate Profile". Could treat Qualifications as the list of requirements, and Skills maybe from Ideal Candidate Profile? But we also have Skills heading possible. However we have no explicit skills list besides those in qualifications. Could combine.
Better to follow typical structure: About the role (company + job summary), Responsibilities (list), Requirements (list of qualifications), Benefits (list), Pay (p), Schedule (p). Possibly also Skills (maybe from Ideal Candidate Profile). But we can include Skills as a section if we have specific skill items. The Ideal Candidate Profile is prose describing traits; we could put that under Skills or maybe under About the role. But we need to avoid filler. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe we combine Ideal Candidate Profile into About the role or Responsibilities? But it's about candidate traits, could be under Skills.
Let's think: We have sections: About the role (company description + job summary/objective). Responsibilities (list of duties). Qualifications (list of requirements). Benefits (list). Pay (p). Schedule (p). Possibly also Skills (maybe from Ideal Candidate Profile). But we could incorporate Ideal Candidate Profile into About the role as a paragraph describing desired traits.
We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. Not needed.
We must not include headings with filler like "Pay" if not specified; we have Pay Rate so we can include Pay.
Schedule: we have shift dates.
Location: we could include in About the role paragraph.
Now we need to ensure we preserve all substantive info: company description, job summary/objective, responsibilities (both sets), qualifications list, ideal candidate profile, benefits list, pay rate, shift dates, location.
We must not include boilerplate: EEO statement, equal opportunity employer line, etc.
Also remove duplicated lines: there may be duplicate sentences like "The purpose of Southwire’s College Programs is to provide valuable experience to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher." and later "The purpose of Southwire’s College Programs is to help early career professionals bring together formal learning and productive work..." Both are similar but not identical; we need to keep both? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep both statements, but we can combine them if they are essentially same? They are slightly different: first says provide valuable experience to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher. Goal is to give students meaningful work that builds on what they are learning in the classroom. Programs are project based. Students will receive a project at the beginning of the summer and present it in our project expo at the end of the summer. More than seven decades... etc.
Second says purpose is to help early career professionals bring together formal learning and productive work to improve their ability to transition from school to work. Note: All new interns and co-ops must begin in the summer rotation.
We should keep both as they add info. Could combine into a single paragraph but must preserve details. We'll include both as separate paragraphs maybe.
Now responsibilities: Key Responsibilities bullet list (some sentences). Description Of Responsibilities bullet list (more specific). We'll combine them into one list, preserving each item.
Let's extract Key Responsibilities:
- Your intern assignment is generally 10-12 weeks, and co-op assignment is generally 16-18 weeks and will include an assigned project and opportunities to present your work.

- Research technology solutions compatible with SAP S/4HANA.

- Evaluate policy-based alternatives, including credit card program enhancements.
- Present recommendations and findings to leadership.
We'll combine.
Qualifications And Experience Requirements list:
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience with process mapping, time studies, or data analytics projects.
- Exposure to business case development or financial analysis.
- Knowledge of automation, digital transformation, or enterprise technology solutions.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with systems thinking and process management concepts.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ideal Candidate Profile prose:
- The ideal intern is curious, analytical, and comfortable asking questions to understand business processes. They should enjoy digging into data, identifying inefficiencies, researching technology solutions, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
We could treat that as Skills section maybe.
Benefits We Offer:
- 401k with Matching & Pension Plan (Eligible for Pension after 1,000 Hours Worked)
- Flexible Work Schedules
Now Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00.
Shift: May 17th - Aug 6th.
Location: CTONSOUTHPARKST (maybe a location code). We'll include as a paragraph.
Now we need to output HTML fragment only, no /, no markdown.
We'll produce something like:
