We're looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Director to lead the sourcing strategy that supports Hyper's continued growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute Hyper's long-term strategic sourcing roadmap.
- Build executive-level relationships with key suppliers and negotiate strategic commercial agreements.
- Lead commodity strategies across transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, copper, fabricated metals, electrical assemblies, and contract manufacturing.
- Partner with Engineering on supplier selection, new product introductions (NPI), value engineering, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Drive supplier capacity planning, business continuity, global sourcing, and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Establish supplier performance metrics, governance processes, and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs).
- Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on cost optimization, inventory strategy, ERP improvements, and operational scalability.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing strategic sourcing organization.
- Provide market intelligence and sourcing recommendations to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, or supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing.
- Proven experience developing strategic sourcing programs for complex manufacturing operations.
- Strong background negotiating executive-level supplier agreements and long-term contracts.
- Experience with supplier development, commodity management, capacity planning, and supply chain risk management.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance.
- Strong financial acumen, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Experience building and leading high-performing sourcing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CPM, or similar certification.
- Experience in electrical equipment, power systems, mission-critical infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, or engineered-to-order products.
- Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP platforms.
- Global sourcing and international supplier management experience.

Compensation
The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
