Director-Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of product as part of the organization's sourcing/procurement strategy
• Develop and gain agreement to annual business plans for a function or substantial business area
• Set and manage area budgets so they align with organizational strategy
• Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision and values
• Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level
• Support the overall organizational strategy by developing and delivering operational plans and outcomes for a large portion of the business
• Manage the delivery of a major part of the organization's supplier management program and/or product development program
• Manage and report on the performance of the function / business area
• Implement Risk Management throughout production/aftermarket supply chains
• Define the detailed organization structure for a business area
• Ensure Order Fulfillment for responsible commodities
• Ensure adherence to budget and inventory targets/budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required within Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent combination education and experience
• Master's Degree preferred
• 12+ years' experience that enables job holder to provide leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes and challenges
• 7+ years direct leadership experience
