Strategic Solution Architect, Presales (Central)

For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Solution Architect, Presales (Central) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will partner closely with enterprise sales teams to shape technical strategy, support complex customer conversations, and guide strategic accounts through their software delivery and DevSecOps initiatives. The position will serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders while translating platform capabilities into measurable business value. It also includes field engagement, collaboration with internal teams, and feedback loops that help influence product direction and customer adoption. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $195,000 – $215,000 annually Responsibilities Engage with strategic customers on their DevSecOps journey using the company's products Collaborate with sales executives to develop account strategies and nurture customer relationships Educate engineers and executives on the platform's capabilities and value Represent the organization in public events and conferences to showcase solutions Provide feedback from the field to influence product features and roadmap Stay current with technological trends in DevOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, and IoT Work with Customer Success and Marketing to enhance customer engagement and adoption Build relationships with decision makers, serving as a trusted technical point of contact Qualifications 10+ years of enterprise presales or solutions engineering experience, specifically with high-stakes Fortune 500/100 accounts Exceptional interpersonal skills and a focus on customer satisfaction Extensive customer-facing experience in software infrastructure presales Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, CI, git, and build tools like Maven and Gradle Expertise in building software delivery pipelines with various DevOps tools Solid understanding of application security (AppSec) Hands-on Linux experience is mandatory Proficient with cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with scalable software development in cloud and on-premise environments Knowledge of software architecture design and IT infrastructure is a plus Willingness to travel at least 50% within the US Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred Benefits Remote work options for candidates outside reasonable commuting distance to certain offices Opportunity for discretionary bonuses or commission Equity package including restricted stock units (RSU) and participation in an employee stock purchase plan Comprehensive benefits covering medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
