Sprout Social is looking to hire a Strategic Services Consultant (Implementations) to join the Sales & Customer Experience team. Responsibilities
- Lead customers' tailored and value-driven implementation experience, running software implementation projects across Sprout’s product suite (Core Platform, Employee Advocacy, and Influencer Marketing).
- Guide customers through a structured implementation lifecycle (Design, Setup, Training, and Validation), leading onboarding, change management, and technical platform configuration to establish project governance, ensure business continuity, and set up long-term success.
- Support technical implementation projects led by Technical Consultants (such as Service Cloud integrations) and partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure a seamless post-implementation handoff.
- Configure platform settings based on customer requirements, including account architecture, user permissions, tagging taxonomies, and automated message routing rules.
- Leverage our Professional Services technology stack (Kantata, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and approved AI tools) to manage project timelines and execute high-quality customer deliverables.
- Level up the social sophistication of customers and team by delivering interactive administrator and end-user product trainings that drive adoption.
- Help operationalize implementation services, standardizing templates, workflows, and enablement materials to improve efficiency across the Professional Services team.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with service processes, including project management, schedule management, and time tracking.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a blend of product-savvy and customer-focused, with strong change management and project management expertise, an understanding of social KPIs, and thrives when guiding enterprise customers through software rollouts.
- 4+ years in social media strategy, professional services, software implementation, or project management in SaaS.
- Experience in training external audiences and navigating complex software platforms.
- Deep understanding of software implementation processes, change management, and how project execution ties directly to customer value.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of social networks (in particular X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn) and social media strategy for large organizations.
- Understanding of sophisticated use cases for social media strategy, such as influencer marketing and social customer care.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated executive presence to consult with team leads, VPs, and CMOs.
Growth & Development
Within 1 month:
- Complete Sprout’s in-depth onboarding, covering the company mission, values, executive insights, and product training.
- Set initial priorities and align on expectations with your manager, including career goalposts.
- Meet with your Professional Services peer mentor to gather learnings for your role.
- Understand Services offerings, from delivery to project management to reporting.
- Shadow Strategic Services Consultants on calls to learn customer stories and case studies.
Within 3 months:
- Build connections with other teams through active networking and community building.
- Develop a clear understanding of the Sprout platform, its features, and use cases.
- Build working relationships with stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
- Lead services projects independently and communicate results to customers.
Within 6 months:
- Have your first performance conversation with your manager to discuss accomplishments and set professional growth goals.
- Become a Sprout Social product expert, confidently speaking to trends, features, and enhancements to help customers achieve their goals.
Within 12 months:
- Become a go-to resource for the Professional Services team and the larger Sales & Customer Success organization.
- Deliver high-impact work beyond customer projects and contribute unique ideas to benefit your team.

Pay
Our salary ranges reflect the expected earning potential for this role. Individual pay is based on geographic zone, relevant experience, and skills. The current hiring range for this role is $77,600.00 – $97,000.00 annually, with opportunities to grow within the broader band based on performance and impact.
We have two geographic pay zones in the United States:
- Zone 1 (New York, California, Washington): $85,400.00 – $128,000.00
- Zone 2 (All other US states): $77,600.00 – $116,400.00
These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach using data from trusted third-party sources to ensure equitable, consistent, and competitive pay. We evaluate compensation bi-annually and adjust ranges as needed.
Schedule
Sprout offers flexibility in work location for many roles, with a remote workforce across the United States. If a role requires a physical presence in a Sprout office, it will be specified in the job listing and offer letter.
