Strategic Projects
About the role
We are seeking a high-impact leader to join our executive team at Vega. This role involves working closely with the CEO, Head of BizOps, Head of Product, and Head of Ops to define and prioritize strategic questions, manage cross-functional initiatives, conduct analyses, identify process improvements, and align stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leaders to define and prioritize the most critical strategic questions facing the business
- Own high-priority, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end — from scoping and analysis through execution and measurement
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, such as market sizing, competitive landscape, and unit economics, and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Identify operational bottlenecks and design process improvements that drive efficiency and margin across the business
- Develop and maintain critical operating metrics and reporting cadences, communicating insights to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling way
- Serve as a connective layer across Product, GTM, and (post-)Sales teams — aligning stakeholders, facilitating decisions, and removing blockers
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, and/or BizOps at a high-growth technology company
You prioritize speed and action, above all else
You thrive in ambiguity — you don’t need a perfect brief to get started
You’ve proven the ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish
You are analytical, a structured problem solver, and comfortable with financial modeling, data analysis, and building narratives from numbers
You are collaborative and “no ego” — you build trust quickly and lead through influence
You have an owner mentality — you take accountability for outcomes, not just outputs
You are comfortable toggling between strategy and execution: happy to design the framework one day and configure the system yourself the next
You have genuine curiosity about AI and how it reshapes the way large traditional industries operate
