The Strategic Procurement Manager position is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to shape procurement strategy within a fast-growing technology environment focused on expanding high-quality connectivity solutions.
Accountabilities
- Drive end-to-end procurement initiatives, improve sourcing strategies, and ensure suppliers and internal teams are aligned with business objectives.
- Create and execute procurement strategies to ensure critical materials, hardware, and resources are sourced efficiently and delivered on schedule.
- Develop and maintain supplier management frameworks, including dashboards to monitor performance, service levels, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, manage contracts, and ensure strong vendor relationships aligned with operational goals.
- Create and optimize procurement processes, including standard operating procedures that improve consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies, including multi-sourcing approaches and contingency planning.
- Maintain supplier performance, financial stability, and market conditions to ensure supply continuity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive accountability, improve workflows, and support business expansion initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in strategic procurement, supply chain operations, and vendor management.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with practical experience managing sourcing strategies, contracts, and procurement systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, and program management.
- 8+ years of experience applying supply chain principles, managing vendor negotiations, and overseeing contracts.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies, competitive bidding processes, and supplier risk mitigation plans.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives without direct authority.
- Experience working with telecommunications inventory or similar technical supply environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP MM (Materials Management) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
