Strategic Planning Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Specialist to support Honda’s Marine initiatives, focusing on market analysis, customer insights, and business condition assessments for new model development. This role involves developing outboard and rigging line-up strategies aligned with customer needs, business goals, and regulations. The specialist will lead communication and coordination for product launches, ensuring successful sales promotion activities. Serving as the voice of the customer during product concept, design, and testing, they will recommend improvements and identify new market opportunities. Deep industry knowledge of Marine products, competitors, and trends is essential. Product Planning: Support new model events by analyzing market trends, customer profiles, and financial metrics.Line-up Strategy: Develop outboard and rigging strategies in line with customer priorities and regulations.Product Launches: Communicate product details to sales teams and support launch activities.Market Insights: Collaborate across teams during product development, providing customer-driven recommendations.Industry Knowledge: Maintain expertise on Marine industry trends, competitors, and Honda’s product line. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; 5+ years marine experience or 8+ years relevant work; strong industry and product knowledge; proficiency in Office tools, analytics software, and vessel operation; decision-making, planning, and communication skills; ability to interact confidently across management levels.
