Strategic Planning Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a professional to coordinate model cost, budget, and project reporting within the Procurement Planning Unit, supporting overall cost strategies for purchasing and development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the creation of purchasing strategies through data analysis and report generation.
• Assisting in long-term budget planning for future developments and new model cost targets.
• Managing access to procurement systems and coordinating training for team members and suppliers.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business (Accounting or Purchasing preferred), or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience (or 6+ years without a degree).
• Working knowledge of purchasing systems, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and relational databases.
• Strong communication, planning, project management, and presentation skills.

Job dimensions

• No direct or indirect reports, and no financial management responsibilities.
• Decisions involve: prioritizing work, verifying budget accuracy, and guiding financial reporting to leadership.
• Working conditions: some international travel, primarily desk work, with possible exposure to chemicals and equipment.
• Overtime may be required based on project needs.
