Business Development$75k–$169k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where there is real specific content. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Must preserve substantive info. We need to parse the posting. Key sections: - About Sandia (intro) maybe not needed as heading? Could be part of About the role? The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should create sections with those headings if content exists. We have content: About the role: The description "What Your Job Will Be Like" includes description of role, tasks. So we can put that under About the role. Responsibilities: The bullet list of duties (develop, document..., steward..., develop..., collaborate..., partner..., organize...). Those are responsibilities. Requirements: Might be qualifications we require (Bachelor's degree, ability to obtain DOE Q-level clearance). Also maybe "The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary." That could be requirements or maybe schedule? But schedule not given. Could be under Requirements. Qualifications: Could be "Qualifications We Desire" list. Skills: Could be derived from qualifications we desire (graphical communications, etc.) but we might combine. Benefits: The posting mentions "Generous vacation, strong medical and other benefits, competitive 401k, learning opportunities, relocation assistance and amenities aimed at creating a solid work/life balance". Also "Flexible work arrangements for many positions include 9/80 ... and 4/10 compressed workweeks, part-time work, and telecommuting". Also "These benefits vary by job classification." So we have benefits content. Pay: Salary Range $74,700 - $168,800. Schedule: Not explicitly given besides flexible work arrangements; but schedule could be considered under Benefits? The instruction: only create Schedule section if posting actually states them. There's mention of flexible work arrangements (9/80, 4/10, part-time, telecommuting). That's schedule info. So we could create a Schedule section with that. We must not include placeholder text like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We must not include duplicated lines. We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out the EEO paragraph, NNSA Requirements, Security Clearance details (though some security clearance is part of qualifications). The posting includes "Security Clearance" paragraph with details about DOE Q-level clearance, citizenship, etc. That is relevant to qualifications (ability to obtain and maintain DOE Q-level clearance). We should keep that info but maybe incorporate into Requirements/Qualifications. The paragraph also includes substance abuse etc. That's boilerplate? Might be considered legal. But the instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. Security clearance details might be considered part of qualifications; we can keep the requirement to obtain clearance but drop the rest of the legal details (like substance abuse, falsification, etc.) as boilerplate. We'll keep the requirement: "Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance." Also maybe "Applicants for employment need to be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship." That's part of requirement. We'll keep that. We also have "Posting Duration" etc. That's metadata; we can drop. "About Our Team" paragraph: could be part of About the role or maybe separate but not a heading we have. Could be included under About the role as extra context. We need to preserve all substantive information; not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the specifics: list of responsibilities, qualifications required, qualifications desired, benefits, salary range, flexible work arrangements. We must not repeat the job title as heading. So no heading for "Strategic Space Planner". Good. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll structure:

About the role

... (combining What Your Job Will Be Like and About Our Team maybe)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document and review functional requirements with customers to facilitate space programming and develop space plans.
  • Steward the development and execution of integrated strategic plans and investment strategies for the Laboratories facility space footprint, including consideration of major moves, renovations, co-location, consolidation, leasing and new construction activities.
  • Develop and maintain Lab-level data analyses and strategic performance metrics for optimizing utilization and continuous balancing of facilities space assets.
  • Collaborate with other Strategic Planners to supervise and align footprint management strategies, plans with mission priorities, and corporate long-range development plans.
  • Partner with Facilities Projects and Operations Teams to implement space strategies, plans and projects to ensure corporate space guidelines, policies and procedures are in alignment with the Lab-level space footprint management strategies.
  • Organize large sets of data and translate those into practical metrics and graphics to aid in decision making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Facility/Property Management, Urban/Regional Planning, Engineering, Project Management, Economics, or Human factors; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship). The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work and must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications include:

  • Ability to account for investment and operational inputs and their effects on specific facilities investment opportunities.
  • Ability to generate clear professional-quality graphical floor plan diagrams representing supply and demand elements of building space occupancy plans.
  • Experience in planning and managing space at a medium to large institutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and tools for space management such as TRIRIGA.
  • Excellent graphical communications skills including design and development of space program, space plans, test fits, blocking plans and graphical data reports.
  • Knowledge or experience with applying user-centered design, experience offering iterative solutions, knowledge of processes and organizational change capability models.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present, negotiate and collaborate with management and staff.
  • Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of facilities and infrastructure lifecycle dynamics from long-range capital planning to construction, occupancy, and operational/maintenance considerations.
  • Active DOE clearance.
But we already have a Requirements section; maybe Qualifications is for desired qualifications. The instruction list includes Qualifications as a heading. We'll use that for desired qualifications. We could also have Skills section but we already covered skills in qualifications. Might be redundant. Better to have Skills separate? The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine Qualifications and Skills into one section called Qualifications (or Skills). But we have both headings in the list; we need to decide which to use. Since we have both required and desired qualifications, we could have Requirements (mandatory) and Qualifications (desired). That seems appropriate. Skills could be omitted as they'd be covered. Benefits: we have generous vacation, strong medical and other benefits, competitive 401k, learning opportunities, relocation assistance, amenities for work/life balance, flexible work arrangements (9/80, 4/10, part-time, telecommuting). We'll put that under Benefits. Pay: Salary Range $74,700 - $168,800. Schedule: Not explicitly separate; but we already included flexible work arrangements under Benefits. Could we still have Schedule? The instruction says only create Schedule if posting actually states them. The posting does state flexible work arrangements, which is schedule info. However we already placed them under Benefits. To avoid duplication, we could put schedule info under Benefits and not create a separate Schedule section. But we need to decide if we should create Schedule section with that info and maybe remove from Benefits. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe better to have Benefits include the flexible work arrangements, and not create a separate Schedule section. Since we already have Benefits, we can include schedule details there. That seems fine. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. We must not include empty sections. Now we need to ensure we preserve all substantive information. Let's verify we didn't miss any: - About Sandia intro: "Sandia National Laboratories is the nation’s premier science and engineering lab for national security and technology innovation, with teams of specialists focused on cutting-edge work in a broad array of areas. Some of the main reasons we love our jobs: Challenging work with amazing impact that contributes to security, peace, and freedom worldwideExtraordinary co-workersSome of the best tools, equipment, and research facilities in the worldCareer advancement and enrichment opportunitiesFlexible work arrangements for many positions include 9/80 (work 80 hours every two weeks, with every other Friday off) and 4/10 (work 4 ten-hour days each week) compressed workweeks, part-time work, and telecommuting (a mix of onsite work and working from home)Generous vacation, strong medical and other benefits, competitive 401k, learning opportunities, relocation assistance and amenities aimed at creating a solid work/life balance* World-changing technologies. Life-changing careers. Learn more about Sandia at: http://www.sandia.gov These benefits vary by job classification." We captured flexible work arrangements and benefits in Benefits section. The intro also includes "Challenging work with amazing impact..." etc. That's fluff but maybe substantive? It's about why they love jobs. Could be considered part of About the role? Might be considered boilerplate? It's not EEO but it's promotional. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. This promotional text might be considered not boilerplate but could be kept. However we already have About the role section with description of role; we could add a sentence about Sandia's mission etc. But we must preserve ALL substantive information. So we should include that intro content somewhere. Perhaps we can include it in About the role section before the role description. Thus About the role section could contain: description of Sandia (mission, reasons we love jobs) plus "What Your Job Will Be Like" description. We need to be careful not to duplicate the flexible work arrangements and benefits already in Benefits section; but the intro also mentions flexible work arrangements and benefits. We could keep them in Benefits only and not duplicate. However the instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; if we omit the intro's mention of flexible work arrangements and benefits, we are losing that info (though it's duplicated elsewhere). But we have it in Benefits section, so it's preserved. Duplication is okay but we should avoid duplication? The instruction says remove duplicated lines. So we should not duplicate the same sentences. So we can keep the intro's description of Sandia's mission and reasons we love jobs (challenging work, extraordinary co-workers, best tools, career advancement, etc.) but we should omit the flexible work arrangements and benefits sentences because they are covered in Benefits section. However the intro also mentions "These benefits vary by job classification." That's also covered by Benefits section note? We could keep a note that benefits vary by job classification in Benefits section. We'll add that. Thus About the role section will include: - Sandia National Laboratories is the nation’s premier science
