About the role
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Space Planning role, supporting the Facilities Management & Planning function by helping design, plan, and implement effective space solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support space planning and facilities projects, including office layouts, workplace moves, and reconfigurations.
- Aid in evaluating space requirements related to occupancy, workflow, safety, and functional needs.
- Help plan, coordinate, and implement furniture layouts and equipment moves across assigned facilities.
- Draft and maintain basic space plans, drawings, and documentation to support facilities initiatives.
- Participate in facilities assessments, including reviews of space condition, suitability, and utilization.
- Support cost estimates and tracking for facilities and space planning projects.
- Perform basic data and trend analysis to support continuous improvement in space utilization and workplace effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and facilities team members to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field preferred).
- Required Experience and Skills: 2-4 years of relevant work experience aligned with an entry-level professional role. Foundational knowledge of space planning, facilities management, or workplace planning concepts. Ability to interpret basic space requirements and assist with layout planning and moves. Ability to work collaboratively under close supervision in a team environment.
- Preferred: Internship or coursework related to facilities planning, workplace strategy, or interior design. Familiarity with space planning or drawing tools (e.g., CAD-based or space management software). Exposure to facilities projects, office moves, or workplace reconfigurations. Interest in workplace optimization, employee experience, and operational efficiency. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic analytical skills, including simple trend or utilization analysis. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits
- Pay Range: $79,000.00 - $142,000.00 USD Annual
