Strategic Partnerships Associate
Nitra’s mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible. Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can focus on what matters most. We operate with urgency, intensity, and ambition, setting a high bar because the opportunity is massive. We expect excellence, ownership, and intellectual rigor from every team member while fostering trust, respect, and collaboration. Every voice matters, and when we win, we win together.
We are scaling rapidly toward unicorn status, driven by disciplined execution and a team that refuses to settle. If you want comfort, this isn’t the place—but if you want impact, ownership, and the chance to help build a generational fintech company, welcome. Nitra was created by unicorn founders with successful exits and is backed by leading VCs like Andreessen Horowitz and NEA. Our team includes experienced professionals from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Meta, and more.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Associate to help Nitra identify and originate new partnership opportunities across the healthcare ecosystem. This is a highly execution-oriented role for someone with a strong sales or business development foundation who can find the right companies, identify key decision-makers, and create compelling reasons for them to engage with Nitra.
You will research and identify potential partners, develop targeted outreach campaigns, initiate conversations, and build a pipeline of partnerships with healthcare distributors, pharmaceutical companies, and other organizations serving medical practices. This is not a traditional SDR role—we want someone who can develop a point of view on who Nitra should partner with and why.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential companies and organizations that could become strategic partners for Nitra.
- Build and maintain targeted lists of prospective partners and key decision-makers.
- Develop and execute targeted outbound campaigns, primarily through email and other digital channels.
- Write thoughtful, compelling outreach that demonstrates an understanding of the prospective partner and the value of a partnership with Nitra.
- Originate new partnership opportunities independently while also working from target accounts identified by the Partnerships team.
- Research prospective partners, understand their business and customer base, and determine collaboration opportunities.
- Initiate conversations, qualify opportunities, and help move promising relationships forward.
- Work closely with the Partnerships team to develop messaging, outreach strategies, and repeatable processes for partner development.
- Track outreach, conversations, and opportunities in CRM and ensure consistent follow-up.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a similar commercial role.
- Strong experience with outbound prospecting and a demonstrated ability to generate new opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to write concise, compelling outreach.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to develop a point of view on which prospects are worth pursuing and why.
- Highly self-directed, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, fintech, or SaaS experience is preferred but not required.
Benefits
- Equity: Everyone at Nitra is an owner. When the company wins, you win.
- Competitive Salary: Reflects your experience and contributions to Nitra.
- Health Care: Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance options.
- Retirement Benefits: Generous employer 401K match.
Schedule
Nitra maintains a hybrid work policy, with team members working from the office four days per week and Wednesdays designated as a work-from-home day.
Pay
The base salary range for this full-time position is $100k–$120k + bonus + equity + benefits.
