Strategic Major Account Manager, Spectrum Business

Achieve or exceed monthly and annual new revenue and renewal quotas through strategic account management and consultative sales.
Conduct proactive needs analyses and execute account strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Maintain accurate sales databases to track client information and sales activities.
Cultivate relationships and secure contract renewals with new and existing contacts.
Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Support and Marketing teams to enhance the client experience.
Attend sales meetings and training sessions to improve sales skills and stay informed on market trends.
Ensure compliance with Spectrum policies to mitigate risks and support account success.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED).
- Experience: 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue goals.
- Skills: Read, write, speak and understand English; strong understanding of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber-connected networks; proven product and technical knowledge; effective relationship building, networking, negotiation and closing skills; quick learner able to apply new knowledge and partner with support resources for account growth; valid driver’s license, safe driving record and willingness to travel as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience; experience selling data, voice and video solutions in the telecommunications B2B industry; proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Pay and Benefits
The base pay for this position generally is between $69,000.00 and $136,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $88,800.
Working Conditions
Office-based role with regular travel required to client locations within assigned footprint.
