About the role
This position reports to the CAE USA Strategic Growth Operations Manager and supports all Strategic Growth and CAE USA Profit & Loss (P&L) business units. The role involves managing pipeline and forecasting accuracy, owning CRM architecture and data pipelines, and improving Strategic Growth Operations processes. It drives alignment between Strategic Growth, Program Management, and Finance, enhances leadership decision-making through clear reporting and structured analyses, and supports key planning cycles that shape annual targets, forecasts, and investment priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end Strategic Growth data pipeline, including data ingestion, cleaning, validation, and quality control within Salesforce.
- Partner with BD stakeholders to identify data issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement scalable, sustainable fixes and improvements.
- Participate in BD improvement initiatives and train Salesforce users.
- Manage and enhance Salesforce architecture, ensuring alignment with business processes, forecasting needs, and BD operational standards.
- Support and participate in monthly Salesforce pipeline and forecasting reviews, ensuring accuracy of inputs and outputs and enabling predictable forecasting.
- Analyze business development data and translate findings into clear, compelling narratives that enhance leadership understanding of pursuit performance, pipeline health, and strategic opportunities.
- Manage monthly cadence processes involving strategic growth data, ensuring leadership receives consistent, accurate insights that support forecasting, opportunity alignment, and operational decision-making.
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve Tableau dashboards and data visualizations to support opportunity reviews, forecasting, and executive reporting.
- Comply with all company security and data protection policies, properly marking and handling information and materials.
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
- Typically 3 or more years of experience in data analysis, CRM administration, business operations, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, data architecture, and data quality management.
- Demonstrated ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations on complex and technical subjects.
- Ability to interpret detailed business requirements and translate them into data structures, validation logic, and reporting outputs.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle abstract concepts and ambiguous datasets.
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Skills
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting Salesforce, including objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and data imports.
- Experience designing and maintaining Tableau dashboards, including data blending, calculated fields, and automated refresh pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to independently diagnose and resolve data issues.
- Experience working in U.S. DoD capture, RFP, or proposal environments.
- Familiarity with process improvement tools and methodologies, including leading or participating in workflow optimization projects.
Work Environment
- Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.
- The employee is on call 24x7 for the resolution of problems and issues.
