About the role

The Strategic Growth Manager (SGM) role at Compass is designed to drive net-new revenue by effectively selling the Compass value proposition to top-producing agents. This role involves influencing these agents to leave their current brokerage and join Compass, a platform that offers technology, marketing, culture, and growth support.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and engage with clients and prospects in the field
  • Collaborate with local teams and agents on-site to maximize impact
  • Understand and communicate how an agent's business and clients will benefit from moving to Compass
  • Successfully bring on individual agents or large agent teams within the defined Gross Commission Income (GCI) range

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to make judgments independently
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Track record of success in strategic, operational, and detail-oriented roles

Compensation

  • Base pay range: $100,000 - $110,000 annually
  • Potential bonus target: $30,000 - $60,000
  • Uncapped bonus potential
  • Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package
