About the role
The Strategic Growth Manager (SGM) role at Compass is designed to drive net-new revenue by effectively selling the Compass value proposition to top-producing agents. This role involves influencing these agents to leave their current brokerage and join Compass, a platform that offers technology, marketing, culture, and growth support.
Responsibilities
- Meet and engage with clients and prospects in the field
- Collaborate with local teams and agents on-site to maximize impact
- Understand and communicate how an agent's business and clients will benefit from moving to Compass
- Successfully bring on individual agents or large agent teams within the defined Gross Commission Income (GCI) range
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook
- Self-starter attitude and ability to make judgments independently
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Track record of success in strategic, operational, and detail-oriented roles
Compensation
- Base pay range: $100,000 - $110,000 annually
- Potential bonus target: $30,000 - $60,000
- Uncapped bonus potential
- Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package
