About the role
The Strategic Growth Manager (SGM) role is a quota-carrying position within Compass, a leading real estate technology company. Your primary responsibility is to drive net-new revenue by effectively selling the Compass value proposition to top-producing agents. You will be responsible for bringing these agents to Compass, leveraging the company's technology, marketing, culture, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Meet and engage with clients and prospects in the field to discuss the benefits of joining Compass.
- Effectively communicate the advantages of Compass's technology, marketing strategies, and culture to attract top agents.
- Successfully close deals by understanding the needs and motivations of decision-makers and facilitating the transition to Compass.
- Manage relationships with agents to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing success at Compass.
- Work closely with local teams and agents to maximize collaboration and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- A self-starter with the ability to make decisions independently and solve complex problems.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to lead client meetings and presentations.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A track record of success in strategic, operational, and detail-oriented roles.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $100,000-$110,000 annually, with a potential bonus target of $30,000-$60,000 and uncapped bonus potential. Compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
