Strategic Finance Manager, GTM

About the role

Rippling is growing rapidly and is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own Topline forecasting end-to-end. The manager will build and own the financial models that enable Rippling to forecast its business accurately, develop a deep understanding of Rippling’s GTM motions, partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to pressure-test forecasts, and use the latest technology to automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the financial models that enable Rippling to forecast its business accurately
• Develop a deep understanding of Rippling’s GTM motions to decompose the drivers of growth and evaluate GTM performance
• Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to fold qualitative, on-the-ground signal into the forecast
• Use the latest technology to automate processes and help Rippling’s finance team operate at scale
• Own monthly board reporting

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, investing, and/or investment banking
• Prior experience at a public company is strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling skills with a track record of owning complex operating models end to end
• A structured, systems-oriented approach to forecasting
• Enjoys being in the weeds and continuously fine-tuning model assumptions
• Proficiency in SQL and comfort synthesizing large, imperfect datasets into clear insights
