About the role
The Strategic Education Partnerships Lead supports Business Development, School Partnerships, and Community Events. The role focuses on creating, building, maintaining, and growing effective long-term relationships with key education institutions and community partners to enhance EECU's image, reputation, and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the district and other community organizations.
- Represent EECU in strategic discussions that align with district goals and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify partnership opportunities that support financial wellness, educational advancement, and community impact.
- Build awareness of EECU's products and services in their assigned partner by generating consistent and positive exposure of EECU through events.
- Manage all aspects of event creation and sponsorship, including securing opportunities, gathering necessary team members and materials, and managing pre and post communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and measure the return on marketing investment of events and sponsorships.
Requirements
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have considerable experience in developing and making presentations to the public.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate ability to develop, organize, and manage effective events.
- Possesses excellent organizational, analytical, and communications skills.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of credit union products and services.
- Effective planning, project management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft office software applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Critical thinking (logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses).
- Valid TX driver's license and insurability.
- Must be able to travel up to 75% within the North Texas area to meet clients, attend meetings, and support various field operations.
Qualifications
- College degree required.
- Previous experience in public education administration or campus leadership.
- Able to plan, organize, and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels and make a favorable impression.
- Confident and comfortable making presentations or interacting with people in social and business settings, representing the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
- Able to interact professionally with internally and external members from all organizational levels.
- Able to operate and lead effectively under pressure.
- Able to make sound independent decisions.
- Able to resolve problems independently.
- Able to be self-directed and able to motivate others.
- Able to prioritize tasks and follow-up for successful completion.
- Able to adhere to established deadlines and budgets.
