About the Role
The Strategic Accounts Manager will achieve sales revenue targets by developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic plans with key hospital Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). Responsibilities include managing the capital sales process, installations, training, and utilization growth within assigned IDNs.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategy within assigned IDN targets
- Manage the complex sales process of the Aquabeam System into new and existing hospitals
- Develop and implement sales activities to achieve and exceed goals set by senior management
- Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the Aquabeam System
- Develop initial contact with National and Regional IDN administrators and senior hospital executives
- Build clinical and administrative support through technical presentations, executive meetings, and marketing events
- Support the expansion of clinical usage in all accounts
- Adhere to monthly reports analyzing regional business performance
- Develop key relationships in targeted accounts
- Foster the development of key opinion leaders to create strong corporate relationships
- Provide updates to management regarding competition, product use, clinical updates, reimbursement, and other important business metrics
- Participate as an integral member of the management team that develops, delivers, and improves programs and training events
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships throughout PROCEPT BioRobotics
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies
- Manage Sales Representatives in designated region, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints; and resolving problems
- Ensure team members have the appropriate resources, education, skills, and tools to be successful
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, reputable institution
- Start-up company experience selling disruptive technology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a sales, sales management, and/or training or marketing organization
- Minimum of 3 years of capital selling experience preferred
- High level of technical/clinical product knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a complex environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to be a self-starter and goal-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in the specified geographic area
- Leadership skills demonstrated through past professional performance in the medical device arena, and involvement in sports, professional clubs, or associations
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 75%
Pay
$180,000 to $180,000
