About the role
We're looking for a Strategic Accounts Director to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of our most important named customers. This is a high-visibility role for someone with deep experience managing complex, high-value enterprise relationships and navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of named AI and hyperscale customers, driving long-term revenue growth and customer success.
- Develop and execute account strategies for key customers, identifying opportunities to expand adoption across infrastructure, capacity, and new services.
- Build trusted relationships with executive, commercial, and technical stakeholders, serving as the primary commercial lead for assigned accounts.
- Lead complex, multi-year enterprise negotiations involving commercial, technical, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts while expanding relationships across business units and decision-makers.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate executive engagement, account planning, and governance to strengthen strategic partnerships and drive long-term customer value.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account plans while ensuring disciplined opportunity management.
- Represent the voice of strategic customers internally, providing market intelligence and influencing product roadmap and commercial strategy.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales or strategic account management experience in quota carrying roles.
- Existing executive and commercial relationships with leading AI-native companies, hyperscalers, or large enterprise technology organizations, including organizations such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, xAI, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, or Oracle.
- Technical understanding of AI infrastructure and workloads, GPUs, machine learning, high-performance computing, networking, cloud architectures, or modern data center solutions.
- Demonstrated success managing and growing large strategic accounts within AI infrastructure, cloud computing, data center, networking, or enterprise technology markets.
- Experience engaging executive leadership, technical decision-makers, procurement, legal, and finance stakeholders throughout long sales cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in high-growth, startup, or scale-up environments where adaptability and ownership are critical.
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership on strategic customer initiatives and long-term partnership development.
Practicalities

- Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office
- Employment type: Full-time permanent
- Salary: $200,000+ base salary per annum depending on experience + commission plan.
