Strategic Account Specialist
This role supports Cencora's distribution services in the U.S. through our AmerisourceBergen business.
About the role
The Strategic Account Specialist will manage the day-to-day relationship between MWI and MVH strategic accounts by providing superior customer service and support. This role also develops and maintains successful working relationships with relevant MWI departments to best serve the customer.
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM MST
Responsibilities
- Provide all facets of customer service, including high-volume phone support and timely, professional email responses.
- Handle customer calls, emails, and faxes by addressing general inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Reconcile potentially damaged and lost shipments, including processing product returns and credits.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, services, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and communications in the CRM (Orbit) system.
- Maintain frequent contact with internal and external customers to address all issues within assigned responsibility.
- Analyze and investigate customer issues, taking appropriate action in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete assigned special tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Customer service background is preferred; veterinary clinic experience is desirable.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Word and Outlook.
- Ability to handle stressful situations as they arise.

Pay
Full-time salary range: $34,000 – $62,370. The actual range may vary based on locale. Ranges in Colorado, California, Washington, New York, Hawaii, Vermont, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Illinois may differ by up to 10% lower than the minimum or 12% higher than the maximum.
